KALEMAH AT THE DIPC

Team Kalemah was present in full force at the DIPC Bazaar, and a huge hit with the crowd. We gave away hundreds of da’wah brochures. We promoted our upcoming, intensive, exclusively-for-sisters weekend workshop “Nurturing Emaan in Children,” with dozens of people registering for the course. DVDs and MP3s from our previous seminars were on sale and extremely popular with the crowd. A prize draw, with scholarships to Kalemah courses, DVDs and other gifts being given away, drew several thousand entries. We also gave away hundreds of “Kalemah Kids” balloons to children, the demand being so great that at times we couldn’t blow up the balloons fast enough. We came, we saw, we called to Islam.

Bismillah, walhamdulillah, waS’Salatu was’salamu ‘alaa rasulihi’l kareem, wa ‘ala aalihee wa aSHaabihee ajma’een.

Why is this workshop Unique?

For the very first time, Kalemah is organizing a workshop exclusively for sisters only.

The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Aisha Utz, who holds a Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology. She is currently an “Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology” at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will be traveling to Dubai for the workshop.

The workshop is especially designed by Dr. Aisha, who is herself a mother of five children (mashaAllah), to teach women the practical application of the various methods and practices that can be used to gently, but surely nurture emaan in children.

Along with a workbook that will be given to the students, the workshop will include a variety of teaching and learning components including lectures, discussions, case studies, small group activities, and highly interactive Q&A sessions.

It thus makes it one workshop which should not be missed, even if it means having to bear the pain of leaving your children behind at home for the two days, as this will help nurture your children in the best possible manner, and thereby shape their future and yours in this world as well as the Hereafter, in sha’Allah, by raising them to be successful Muslim men and women.
